About Our Quit Kit

STAND has been offering cessation services to youth and young adults in the Sacramento region for over 7 years. Every year we work to expand and revamp our services to help youth and young adults kick the habit. Here are just a few of our stats to back up our program:

Youth and young adults who quit smoking through our program experienced a success rate of 61% at six month follow-ups, which is much hire than quitting “cold turkey”.¹

Of those still smoking at follow-up, 79 had reduced their use – a 92% reduction rate.¹

Of those who quit, 92% reported the Quit Kit help them quit and 73% reported the intervention sessions helped.¹

Those who received the quit kit reported that the intervention sessions helped them by having someone point out how much money could be saved by quitting tobacco. ¹
